218. See Your Hills As Level Ground

Isaiah 35:3-4 NKJV Strengthen the weak hands, And make firm the feeble knees. (4) Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”

Isaiah 35:4 MSG Tell fearful souls, “Courage! Take heart! GOD is here, right here, on his way to put things right And redress all wrongs. He’s on his way! He’ll save you!”

I read an article one time that said FEAR stood for False Evidence Appearing Real. That is why we can strengthen the weak hands, tightening our grip on His Word and firm up our knees when they begin to wobble with fear. The circumstance may be real, but there is a reality that is greater than it. That reality is the Word of God.

We don’t have to fear and can stand up and tell fearful souls to take heart, because God is here. Isaiah prophesied that God was on His way to put things right and redress all wrongs. He encouraged others to boldly proclaim that message telling others not to fear. Well, He was coming and praise God He came. The Father God put things right and redressed all wrongs through the redemptive work of Jesus.

FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real and we should not allow this to paralyze us. Jesus has set us free from fear (Heb 2:15, Rom 8:15). He has set everything right and will set everything right in your circumstance because no matter how real your circumstance is if it does not line up with God’s Word it is FALSE and needs to be redressed. Trust in Him. See your hills as level ground and embrace His Word on the subject, Speak His Word, Believe His Word and Fear Not, He’s on the way to put your situation right.
