284. Your Relationship Empowers You to Fearlessly Stand

gratitude-1251137_640Habakkuk 3:2 NKJV O LORD, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; In wrath remember mercy.

Habakkuk 3:2 MSG GOD, I’ve heard what our ancestors say about you, and I’m stopped in my tracks, down on my knees. Do among us what you did among them. Work among us as you worked among them. And as you bring judgment, as you surely must, remember mercy.

It’s time we touch on reverence and Holy Fear again. I know this is the Fearless Friday blog and I wrote a book Fearless Ps34:4 Living Free From Fear, but it is knowing your relationship with the Lord and just how AMAZING and truly AWESOME He is that enables us to stand fearless.

Habakkuk was filled with Holy Fear and brought to his knees as he was overwhelmed at the incredible wisdom, strength, power, creativity, and limitlessness of who God is and what He has done. The incredible thing is that Habakkuk didn’t even know the half of it, because the BEST was still to come.

God in His grace and mercy not only sent His Son to be born by a virgin’s womb and gave His sinless life as a sacrifice for the sins of men, but destroyed the power of death through the resurrection. The same immeasurable power that raise Christ from the dead was released in each of us when we believed on Him and were re-created new beings IN CHRIST. The new creation revelation of God IN us is one that should regularly stop us in our tracks and get us on our knees in amazement and awe of what He has done, encourage us to pray for others to receive the revelation of this miracle, and then raise us to our feet to stand fearless and proclaim His name to the nations… and neighborhoods around us.
